Suhas is a Virginia State Senator, a former member of the Obama administration, a husband, and a father of two. He’s dedicated his life to serving Virginians and the American people – from working to help rebuild the communities affected by Hurricane Katrina while in college, to volunteering as a firefighter in Loudoun County, to taking on tough fights while in the Virginia General Assembly.
When Suhas was first elected to the VA House of Delegates in 2019, he became the first person of South Asian descent to serve in that chamber. Since then, he’s been working tirelessly to tackle some of our Commonwealth’s biggest issues, like ending gun violence and protecting abortion rights.
Suhas has also worked across the aisle to deliver progress — lowering prescription drug costs, cracking down on toll spikes for commuters, and securing millions of dollars in refunds on energy bills for VA families.
I’m confident that while in Congress, Suhas will continue to take on tough fights and win. He’ll stand strong against MAGA extremists, defend abortion rights, and work with anyone willing to put aside partisan political games and get things done for Northern Virginians.
I’m not the only one who knows Suhas will help keep the 10th District blue. My friend and colleague Jennifer Wexton has said that Suhas is a “principled, effective leader who has a long commitment to service.”
And I couldn’t agree more.
Suhas Subramanyam is a great Democrat and I’d be proud and honored to work alongside him in Congress. But first, he’s going to need our help to get there.
If you’re able, please split a donation of any amount between our campaigns, and let’s do everything we can to elect Suhas and flip the House this November.
Thanks for reading and for helping keep Virginia blue up and down the ballot this November!
