Friends,

This Wednesday, April 22, marks the fifty year anniversary of the first Earth Day. The battle has changed in immeasurable ways since 1970—but we're still struggling for a healthy, safe world, even in this desperately strange moment in time.

This COVID-19 crisis has highlighted and amplified inequality. It has also underscored our tremendous capacity for bravery and solidarity. When we take action for our communities and the places we love, we do remarkable things.

Starting tomorrow you can tune in to Earth Day Live ([link removed]) , a massive
three-day livestream with activists, celebrities, musicians, and more. Inspired? Channel your passion by taking part in the many online actions we've listed below.

In solidarity,
Rosemary Mosco

** April 23: Stop the Money Pipeline Digital Action!
------------------------------------------------------------

Spend an hour taking action with us! Chase, the largest U.S. bank, is owned by JPMorgan Chase, the #1 financier of fossil fuels and climate destruction. If JPMorgan Chase and other big corporations changed business as usual, they could do more than almost anyone else in the world to make our climate livable and protect communities here in Massachusetts. Join 350 Mass/Climate Courage, part of the local Stop the Money Pipeline coalition, to call, email, and tweet leaders at some of the largest global financial institutions to tell them that they need to step up as committed climate leaders.

There are two times to join: noon-1 pm ET (register here ([link removed]) ) and 7-8 pm ET (register here ([link removed]) ).
After registering, you’ll get a confirmation email with a Zoom link. Shortly before the start time, click on the link to join. For more info, see the Facebook event. ([link removed])
