Cheers, John, it's Friday! I wanted to make sure I caught you up on where our campaign stands before you log off for the weekend—and maybe even grab a Friday beer for yourself after a busy week!
You all know how much I hate asking for money, but this is serious: According to my team, we need a surge of donations tonight to reach our mid-month fundraising goal before Monday's deadline.
Before I get into why this deadline is so important, can I count on you to chip in just $5—the price of a beer (a Montana beer, folks, not one of those $12 DC beers), to help us reach our fundraising goal?
Our mid-month goal is critical to making sure we have the strongest fundraising numbers possible in our public FEC report we file at the end of the quarter.
Hitting this deadline also allows us to respond to incoming attacks from national Republicans and Mitch McConnell, who are determined to buy Montana’s Senate seat because they know that if they win in Montana, there’s almost no chance that Democrats hold the Senate majority.
The point is, John, we’re building a grassroots campaign that’s stronger than any of the Republicans' dark money groups. But that takes resources, and if we want to get ahead, I need you to chip in so we hit our mid-month fundraising goal.
I’m counting on your help to set us up for success and ensure we have the resources to keep our momentum. Do you think you can chip in today? The Senate majority depends on us winning here, so it really is important that we hit our goals.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thanks, John. Enjoy your weekend (and that Friday beer if you’re feeling so inclined).
Jon
As a third-generation Montanan and the U.S. Senate’s only working dirt farmer, Jon Tester is committed to protecting the Montana way of life.
In the Senate, Jon takes his cues from the rural communities, veterans, and working families that elected him—not special interests or super PACs.
That’s why we’re counting on you to help reelect Jon and keep him fighting for rural communities in the Senate. Click here to chip in and fuel our grassroots campaign >>
