I want to thank you for showing up in big ways these past few weeks: - PFLAG chapters across the country are participating in our new PFLAG Connects program, hosting virtual peer-to-peer, family-to-family support meetings as our dedicated Chapter Engagement team provides guidance and technical support around the clock;
- Thousands are tuning in on Facebook and YouTube every Thursday to watch Something To Talk About Live, an online discussion led by our Learning & Inclusion team to keep viewers informed and connected;
- Hundreds of thousands are accessing on our website PFLAG National’s life-saving publications in English and Spanish (such as Our Trans Loved Ones and Be Yourself), our Straight for Equality™ guides (including guide to being a straight ally and guide to being a trans ally), and learning webinars through PFLAG Academy Online to stay educated and engaged.
Weeks of isolation and uncertainty have made all of us realize that staying connected is more important than ever. With countless LGBTQ+ kids in non-affirming homes, parents seeking resources to support their children, and allies who want to help their LGBTQ+ loved ones deeply affected by this crisis -- there’s never been a more critical time to be there for them.
