BREAKING: Kavanaugh cited Roe v. Wade in explaining when the Court could overturn "erroneous precedents"
FIGHT BACK: [link removed]
John,
Senator Collins justified her critical vote to confirm Kavanaugh by saying he would respect precedent on Roe v. Wade.
But in a concurring opinion released yesterday, Justice Kavanaugh used Roe v. Wade as an example to demonstrate the Court's ability to overturn "erroneous precedents."
He wrote that the judicial tradition of following prior precedent was "not an 'inexorable command.'"
He could be hinting at openness to overturning Roe v. Wade!
Senator Collins has proven again and again that she won't stand up for women's reproductive rights. Instead she'll work with Trump and McConnell to stack the courts with far-right, anti-choice justices. It's time to replace her in the Senate.
Rush a $3 contribution to defeat Senator Collins right now.
We're not going to let them turn back the clock on women's rights. Not without a fight.
Keep fighting,
Team Sara
