I am proud to share that I have earned the endorsement of Democrats for Diversity and Inclusion (DDI)! DDI is an advocacy organization committed to holding elected and appointed officials accountable for using their office to advocate for the needs and aspirations of the diverse communities they represent. I am proud to represent all of my constituents in Congress and to have the support of DDI in doing so.

In 2021, I introduced bipartisan legislation to promote career opportunities and boost diversity in the U.S. transportation industry through the Promoting Service in Transportation Act. In Washington and across the country, investing in transportation increases job opportunities. The Promoting Service in Transportation Act would ensure that all Americans are aware of the career opportunities in the transportation sector as it grows. Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, I have brought $146 million to the 2nd District to revitalize our community and create jobs. Protecting diversity and inclusion is important and I am proud that DDI has recognized our work.

A lot is on the line this election — especially for diverse communities — and I am glad that our campaign has built a space where all are welcome. Our door is always open. Join our team today.

More soon,

Rick
