Unfortunately, a few years ago, radicals began propelling criminals into heroes overnight and campaigning to “defund the police.” I refuse to accept that we must cater to the bottom denominator of our society and that the black community must fight and scream and demand support for the people in our community who are up to no good. That’s one of the reasons I founded BLEXIT — an organization focused on shifting the culture in Black America as well as educating and uplifting minorities through educational programs and acts of community service. Around the nation, our BLEXIT chapters have supported local officers, while so many others have turned their backs on those who serve our communities. To join these chapters and stand with police officers, please sign the national petition today. |
This summer, BLEXIT Maryland spent the day giving back to the Baltimore Police Department and learned some history about the city’s police force. |
The first state chapter — BLEXIT North Carolina — paid a visit to local officers in July. Our State Director showered them with thank-you notes and delicious food as a token of BLEXIT’s appreciation. |
