The U.S. Supreme Court decided last month that emergency health care (including life-saving abortion care) could continue in states with total abortion bans. To give you an idea of what that actually looks like, here's a map of where abortion is currently banned:

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Arizona, Iowa

But here's the thing: This ruling is only a stopgap. SCOTUS did not rule on whether emergency abortions were legal; they only sent this fight back to lower courts to be argued again. And we know anti-choice extremists will continue to try all avenues to attack our rights in the meantime. This is where EMILYs List comes in.
