Political leaders are showing their true colors... and it’s ugly.

Under the banner of “public health,” the American people are being forced to live under house arrest, watching as their constitutionally protected freedoms are slowly eroded.

As politicians arbitrarily decide who and what are deemed “essential” — churches are fighting a losing battle.

In Virginia, the pastor of a local church was charged with a year in jail and/or a $2,500 fine.

What was his crime? Holding a church service for 16 people seated at safe distances in a sanctuary built to hold 293.

In New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio is threatening to permanently shut down any churches or synagogues who don’t comply with his shutdown order. Meanwhile, abortion clinics are deemed essential.

It’s a slippery slope.
