John, it's Jeanna Repass, the Chair of the Kansas Democratic Party, and I've got bad news.
Extremists in the State Legislature did nothing this year to pass Medicaid expansion, but they still found time to continue chipping away at Kansans’ reproductive freedoms.
But not all hope is lost, John. We have the power to turn things around this fall—and it starts today.
We are entering election season with some of the most high-stakes races we've seen in our lifetimes, and we can't stand by while out-of-touch politicians, with the wrong priorities, stay in power. If you are already fired up to join our cause, can you chip in today to support our work and help put more people-first Democrats in office? [[link removed]]

John, it really is possible to get these self-interested politicians out of office—it's just going to take powerful grassroots organizing.
That's why the Kansas Dems are working fiercely to get our message out by putting more folks on the ground, expanding our budget for more campaign materials and data, helping county parties open offices to build long-term community relationships, and supporting candidates up and down the ballot and all over the state to beat the extremists in our legislature.
But the most important part is making sure the folks with the voting power join our common-sense coalition.
Once we break the supermajorities, we can start Kansas' journey to real progress—and that's something we have to do together. Our month of action is dedicated to reaching folks where they're at, and we've set a huge fundraising goal for July to make it happen. John, can you make a donation today to join our team and help us win this fall? [[link removed]]
