Umbrellas, air rifles, tennis balls, aluminum water bottles, light bulbs, and locks — these are just a few of the items that will be banned from the Republican National Convention.

Notice what's NOT on this list, John? GUNS.

That's right, attendees at the RNC in July can bring fully loaded AR-15 assault rifles, but not water bottles.

The GOP is living in a reality where fake guns are a threat but real ones aren't. That's not the reality WE live in.

The truth is, assault weapons are dangerous. Every year hundreds of people are killed by assault weapons — the same can't be said for tennis balls.

A tennis ball isn't a weapon of war. Neither is a water bottle or an umbrella or a light bulb. An AR-15 is.

That's why we need you to raise your voice before our midnight deadline:
