John,
Last night, in a speech that will make you laugh and cry, Rashida delivered the keynote address to activists at the annual Netroots Nation conference.
Rashida reminded folks that "transformative change doesn't come from the White House. It doesn't come from Congress." Change comes from us, the people.
She connected the genocide in Gaza to police violence in the U.S., saying "we will fight to end state funded violence" and reminding attendees that "cutting off water is violence; I don't care if it's in Detroit or in Gaza."
And, in a call to action that holds those in power to account, Rashida said, "Those that are lining the pockets of military contractors and sending bombs that kill Palestinian children, watch out, because our movement to end this genocide is just getting bigger and stronger."

Thank you for powering our ceasefire movement and our movement to end the unjust status quo.
In solidarity,
Team Rashida
