I wanted to reach out today and touch base with you in complete
transparency about Justice Democrats’ fundraising numbers for the month
and take some time to explain why hitting our April goal is so important.

Our April fundraising goal is $175,000 and as of this morning we’ve raised
$106,762:

As you can see, our average contribution is just $15.46 — Justice
Democrats relies on contributions made in response to emails like this
one. But the reality is that our fundraising has slowed down this month,
this is our slowest month of the year so far.

Don’t worry, we aren’t going to send you any scary, fear-inducing DCCC
style emails. Your membership isn’t going to expire. There is no reason to
kiss all hope goodbye. And we don’t have any generous donors to QUADRUPLE
MATCH your donation.

But, if you can afford it, I will ask if you can contribute today to help
us get our April fundraising back on track.

Justice Democrats supports candidates by assisting with communications
work, fundraising, organizing volunteers, social media support, and
ensuring that our endorsed candidates are running winning campaigns. After
the DCCC decided to blacklist vendors that work for progressive, primary
challengers — our work to build infrastructure for primary campaigns
became more important than ever.

Reaching our $175,000 fundraising goal will help us continue to do this
important work with our endorsed candidates and continue to build
progressive power.
