Hey John. In a minute, I’ll ask you to chip in toward my campaign's mid-month fundraising goal on Monday, but first I wanted to tell you why I’m in this race.
I’m a third-generation Montanan and a proud dirt farmer. My grandparents homesteaded our family farm over 100 years ago, and my wife Sharla and I have spent the last 46 years working the land together.
I first ran for office because I didn’t see any politicians sticking up for rural communities like mine. We wrote letters to everyone we knew asking if they could chip in toward my campaign. It was humbling to see how many people trusted me to represent them.
And after witnessing the rampant corruption in Washington, I ran for the U.S. Senate in 2005 and won by just 3,562 votes. John, I’ve been fighting to hold our government accountable to the folks back home since the very beginning, and thanks to this team, I can stay focused on getting real results in Washington.
Our mid-month deadline expires Monday at midnight, so John: Can you chip in $10 today to help us get over the finish line? There’s not much time left, but I believe in this team’s ability to show up when we need it most.

Thank you,
