We’re already nearing the end of April, which means we are just 105 days from the Aug. 4 primary and 196 days from the Nov. 3 general election.

Friend,

We’re already nearing the end of April, which means we are just 105 days away from the August 4 primary and 196 days away from the November 3 general election.

However, elections this fall are not on the forefront of most Kansans’ minds.

Instead, families are concerned about putting food on the table, workers are unsure of their job stability, and the media is constantly chattering about a “new normal.”

This week, Ron is hopeful that Congress can accomplish a simple task – appropriate more funds for the popular Paycheck Protection Program that is giving stability to millions of small businesses and their workers across the country. The program was part of the bipartisan CARES Act and is not controversial, but D.C. politics held up the progress for more than a week.

So while our country is focused on recovery and reopening, it can be challenging to think about what the 2020 election will look like.

Our team has also concentrated on ensuring Kansans’ needs are met in this challenging time. And while the global pandemic is the most important thing in our world right now, Ron wanted me to give you a quick update on our first-quarter fundraising.

Thanks to friends like you, we raised $194,743. This is an impressive number, but it’s short of our goal.

We know there’s a lot of uncertainty in the world that’s out of our control, but if you have the means to give ([link removed]) , we would appreciate your support. Anything helps, even $10 ([link removed]) , $25 ([link removed]) or $50 ([link removed]) .

If you can’t give, that’s just fine too. Your prayers are also deeply appreciated.

We aren’t sending many fundraising emails because that’s just not our focus. However, we want to make sure that we can send Ron back to Congress in November, and we want to help other conservative candidates in Kansas as well.

Regardless of whether you can donate today, Ron is thankful for you.

Campaigning looks a lot different right now, but we’re thankful for our Kansas champion and the work he’s doing on behalf of the Sunflower State and conservatives across the country.

Sincerely,

Josh Bell
Finance Chairman

P.S. If you can’t give ([link removed]) , consider taking our one-question survey ([link removed]) about how you plan to cast your ballot in the November general election. I know Ron would love to hear from you.
