July 2024

Dear Fellow Republican Patriots,

What an honor it is to serve as Chairwoman for the Republican Party of Bexar County!

Although this election was won in March, the term did not begin until June 17th. What an exciting three weeks it has been. Here are a few of the highlights; Primary Runoffs, CEC-Organizational Meeting, relocating our headquarters and a successful Fundraiser. I have taken the opportunity to speak with our two U.S. Senators’ offices, our two U.S. Congressmen, our Bexar County State Senators, State Representatives, County Commissioner and City Council Member. I have also met with our Republican candidates. I have attended and served on The Elections Commission and on The Elections Board, as we are overseeing the replacement of the County Elections Administrator.

I would like to thank all who attended the CEC-Organizational meeting. A Saturday morning schedule worked well for the majority. Bylaws were passed and the officers appointed. Congratulations to the new Vice Chair-Kyle Sinclair, Secretary-Diane Rath, and Treasurer-Lille Gough. Please consider recruiting Precinct Chairs. Our goal is to fill 400+ vacancies. We will welcome and train them.

Our RPBC headquarters has relocated. Thank you to those who helped with the move. The new address is 909 NE Loop 410, Suite 801 (8th floor), San Antonio, TX 78209. The phone number is the same, 210.824.9445.

Teresa Bollin is our Volunteer Coordinator; please contact the office to start volunteering. We need “all hands-on deck” for this critical election.

Also, the TRUMP STORE is open for business.

Please come up and check the great items: yard signs, fun T-shirts, hats, cowboy hats, flags, bumper stickers, koozies and much more.

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to all that were able to attend and support the RED WHITE & VAROOOM Car Show! Our name was on the marquee on Hwy 1604 for two weeks. There were large crowds, and “a good time was had by all!” Thank you to the vendors who showed up and offered the most wonderful swag or treats. Everyone survived the Texas summer heat while promoting and supporting our candidates and our county Republican party.

The election of our lifetime is 116 days away! I ask everyone to please get engaged. Let us fill Precinct Chair vacancies, be an Election Judge, Election Clerk, Poll Watcher, Block Walker, and Phone Caller. Let’s turn Bexar County RED!

We have 18 Republican candidates on the ballot. We must stand united. Our Mission is to elect Republicans. Your energy, knowledge, and love of Texas and Country will be necessary for our people to win.

It takes money to run the Republican office. Please consider donating or becoming a Sustaining Member. A Sustaining Member pledges a monthly donation on a credit card or check. No amount is too small. Our web site, (bexargop.org), has this information. Many thanks to those who are already Sustaining Members or to those who have given a donation.

I intend to work diligently for our success, and I ask for your support in this endeavor.

Warmest Regards,

Kris Coons, Chair

Republican Party of Bexar County

Heavenly Father,

As we enter the vibrant days of July, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the many blessings we enjoy, especially the freedoms we have in America. We thank You for the liberty to express our beliefs, pursue our dreams, and live our lives in a land where freedom is a cherished right.

Lord, we are grateful for the opportunities and privileges that come with these freedoms. We remember those who have sacrificed to secure these rights and pray that we honor their legacy by living responsibly and with compassion for others.

Lord, bless this nation with unity and peace. As we celebrate our independence, remind us of our interdependence—our need for one another and our call to support and uplift each other. Guide our leaders and all who hold positions of authority, that they may govern with wisdom and justice.

In this month of celebration and reflection, may we draw closer to You, finding strength in Your presence and purpose in Your plans for our lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray,

Amen.
