Another victory for working people!

Last week, thousands of Food 4 Less workers across Southern California ratified a new three-year agreement with Kroger. This hard-fought win came after months of rallies, petitions, and actions led by workers and community members unified by their demands for better jobs and stores. 

The new contract includes wage increases for all workers, an increased starting wage rate, more guaranteed hours for all part-time workers, and more. 

We're proud to have helped lead the community side of this contract fight with our community delegations, education, and engagement. We know we're stronger together and that when we fight, we win.  

And we're not done yet. This contract was just one of the first big wins in Hot Labor Summer 2024. CVS workers are currently fighting for a stronger contract with better pay, more affordable healthcare coverage, and increased safety protections.
