Hello everyone!

We’re Maya and Lucia and we are sisters. We are four years old and seven years old, and we live in Wellington with our mum and dad. We are sending you an email today about looking after our planet.

We want to protect the environment because it is important, because if we don't look after it then a lot of things might die. It is important to look after our earth because we need love. We need to help people.

Everyone should use paper and cardboard instead of plastic because paper doesn't last very long but plastic will last for almost forever, it's even better to use reusable things. 

Some other ways that we think we should look after our planet are:




If we don’t make changes now then when all the children grow up it won’t be a nice life and nice planet for us.
