Dear Friend, As I hope you have seen already, I have been extremely busy lately as Chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce with hearings and investigations holding our so-called “elite” colleges and universities responsible for the deplorable campus environments they’ve created against Jewish students and faculty. Our work is far from over, but we are making significant progress and I believe we are doing good work in combating antisemitism and ensuring these students and teachers have a safe environment to work, study, and live in. Normally, I don’t really pay attention to what the media is saying about our work, but an article was published this week from Commentary Magazine that I had to share with you. Please click here to read the full article. In short, I have no secret agenda to destroy elite higher education. It appears to be self-destructing just fine on its own. I’m just doing my job and making sure Ivy League schools are held accountable for fostering a toxic higher education experience and for turning a blind eye to the Jew-hatred taking root on their campus. The reporter wrote that: “Foxx is the main conduit of information to the public on this pressing issue, and she is the primary reason there have been any consequences at all for the surge in violent Jew-hatred on campus. The committee is doing its job. It would be nice if other officials in a position of responsibility would join the effort.” While I am grateful when my hard work generates results that matter, you can count on me always to speak the truth and keep fighting for the founding values that have made our country great.
