The August 6 election includes partisan primaries for US Senate, Congress, State House, county-wide elected offices, County Commissioner, and local elected offices, as well as local ballot measures. Voters may only vote for one party’s candidates.
“On the August ballot voters must remember to not cross party lines. Otherwise, their ballot will be spoiled, and the partisan section won’t count,” said Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. “Be sure to also complete the non-partisan section, as well.”
Voter registration status, early and election day polling locations, and sample ballots are available on the Michigan Secretary of State website, www.Michigan.gov/Vote.
