Dr. Sherry O'Donnell – U.S. Senate Candidate – Bio Dr. Sherry O’Donnell is a renowned physician, author, mission leader, speaker, former 2022 Republican Congressional candidate in Michigan’s 5th District, and Michigan State Chair for U.S. Term Limits. Born in Minnesota, she grew up in New York and moved to several places before attending college in Nebraska. After her undergraduate studies, she went to Bible college and medical school in Oklahoma. She now resides in Michigan. She is honored to be recognized by Michigan’s prestigious She Leads, a strong Christian organization that has based its members' professional lives and work ethics on Christian conservative values. Sandy Pensler – U.S. Senate Candidate – Bio Sandy Pensler is an economist, a manufacturer and a job creator. He was born and raised in Detroit. Sandy is the CEO of Korex, a manufacturing company based in Wixom, Michigan that employs 150 people right here in Michigan. He also founded Pensler Capital. Sandy earned a B.A. in Chemical Engineering, a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Economics from Yale and he received his law degree from Harvard. Sandy is married to Anita and has two children, Jonathan and Natasha. If elected, Sandy would be the only economist in the US Senate and one of two manufacturers in the US Senate. Information for School Board Candidates U.S. House Passes SAVE Act to Protect Election Integrity Nearly all House Democrats voted against a “generation-defining” election security bill that would certify only U.S. citizens to register to vote in national elections — a bill President Joe Biden has promised to veto. The House of Representatives passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 8281) by a near party-line vote of 221-198. The bill amends the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), and would require officials to see various identification forms that prove citizenship, as well as allowing them access to federal databases where they could verify the applicant’s citizenship. CTV Hiring for Part-Time Role We are looking to hire a Field Coordinator for our Pews to the Polls program that distributes educational Voter Guides to our network of churches throughout Michigan, informing citizens where candidates stand on key issues. We are seeking to hire in the Battle Creek area. This is a part-time (15-20hrs/wk) temporary position until the end of October.
