Team, the conservative-majority Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice John Roberts, gave CONVICTED FELON Donald Trump another HUGE WIN last week:
“We conclude that under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power requires that a former President have some immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts during his tenure in office. At least with respect to the President’s exercise of his core constitutional powers, this immunity must be absolute. As for his remaining official actions, he is also entitled to immunity.”

Team, Donald Trump is celebrating this win on Truth Social. And with this decision, Chief Justice Roberts and the rest of the conservative-majority Supreme Court put Trump before our very democracy – and betrayed the 70% of Americans who think U.S. presidents SHOULD NOT have immunity for actions they take while in office.
Liberal Justice Sotomayor – joined by Justice Kagan and Justice Jackson – denounced the ruling, saying “...the President is now a king above the law… with fear for our democracy, I dissent.”
This marks the biggest avenue yet for Trump to dodge accountability: it could lead to delays and possible immunity in his January 6th trial!
