john — Minnesotans count on the United States Postal Service to deliver for them every day.

But a new performance report from the USPS shows that the Minnesota-North Dakota district of the USPS is among the bottom ten in the country. Not only that — a recent audit found that over 100,000 pieces of mail were missing or destroyed over just two days in post offices across MN-ND.

We deserve better from the Postal Service, and I’m calling on Louis DeJoy to improve services.

From delayed mail service to overworked mail carriers in Minnesota, I am deeply concerned about the state of the USPS under Louis DeJoy — and I’m calling on him to answer for these concerns.

Too many Minnesotans aren’t receiving the service they deserve. Rural communities are especially affected by delayed mail.

And postal workers are bearing a massive burden — long hours, ever-increasing package deliveries, and so much more. They deserve better, too.

With the election coming up in a few months, and millions of Americans relying on mail-in ballots to participate in our democracy, I’m joining my colleagues in asking Louis DeJoy how he’s preparing to address the declining performance of the postal service in Minnesota.

If you support my efforts to improve the USPS — for its employees and for the millions of Americans who count on its services — add your name to my petition today. [[link removed]]
