In case you missed it, John, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s corporate-backed primary opponent recently called her “a pawn for Hamas” because she supports an end to the violence in Gaza.

This isn’t just Islamophobic rhetoric — it’s dangerous hate speech that puts the safety of Ilhan and other Muslim community members across the country at risk. This is the same guy claiming he’s challenging the progressive incumbent to end “the hate and the division.” Right.

Don Samuels is no stranger to directing ugly insults at Ilhan. Last November, he said the Congresswoman from Minnesota’s 5th District was “not cute enough… doesn’t dress well enough,” and is now lying and denying making these sexist comments.

Like other Squad challengers, Samuels is backed by conservative, corporate megadonors and super PACs, including notorious GOP billionaire and Clarence Thomas briber, Harlan Crow.

Ilhan defeated Samuels by just 2,500 votes when he challenged her in 2022 — we need to ensure she has the resources to do it again in just a few weeks.
