Four days from now, national Republicans will pour into Milwaukee for a multi-day fanfest over their criminally convicted presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

He will claim credit for appointing the Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade and granted him presidential immunity.

He will attack his political opponents, now unconstrained by the courts from taking harsh retaliation if he were to retake the presidency, as he recently threatened to jail me (again).

He will brag about his hundreds of millions of dollars in fundraising since his conviction that now has him far outpacing President Biden’s campaign.

And in Wisconsin, a state he won in 2016, where MAGA Senator Ron Johnson won reelection in 2022 by barely 1 percent, Trump will make his case for the dark, authoritarian vision he has for our country.

We have to stop him.
