Events



→ Team Wittman had a fantastic week traveling around the district, visiting
every GOP committee meeting and doing some doorknocking. A big thank you to
Northumberland and many more for welcoming us at your meetings! We always enjoy
connecting with our community and hearing your concerns both at the doors and
in the committees.



→ It was Reedville's 150th birthday over the 4th of July weekend and Team
Wittman was happy to take part in their 3 day celebration! Thank you for
allowing us to be a part of such a special parade and evening, we enjoyed every
minute of it and we cannot wait to be back!






→ Our signs are going up! We are starting to put up 4x8’s all over the
district! If you have a location for a 4x4 or 4x8 Rob Wittman for Congress sign
let us know!

→ Congressman Wittman is seeking interns for the 2024 election season to serve
on his campaign team. This year will be an exciting campaign, and we need
committed interns ready to work for America’s First District.



Rob Wittman is service minded, results driven, and focused on leading the
district and the country forward. Continuing to get things done for the people
he serves, we are looking for committed interns who want to join the momentum.
This internship will teach you a variety of skills and be a launchpad into your
future career. It is a great fit for team players who enjoy working with others
to accomplish goals larger than themselves.

→ Our Super Saturdays are here! Join us this JULY 13th at the Sipping Flea for
a day of action in Williamsburg. If you live near or in Williamsburg and would
like to help us knock some doors please let us know! We need as many people as
possible to get word out about the election on November 5th! This is our first
doorknocking event of many to come so bring a friend and get ready to hit some
doors!



→ Team Wittman has a stockpile of new bumper stickers, as well as yard signs.

soon.



→ We are always looking for more amazing volunteers! Whether it is going out
and knocking your neighborhood, handing off a few signs to friends, hosting a
meet and greet, or just making some phone calls, every bit counts! If you would

This week's News highlights with Rob Wittman!



→ On July 10th, Congressman Rob Wittman’s (R-VA-01) America’s Conservation
Enhancement Reauthorization Act advanced in the House Natural Resources
Committee after receiving a hearing in the Water, Wildlife and Fisheries
Subcommittee. This comprehensive legislation will enhance the preservation of
America’s natural resources, wildlife, and habitats. The bill is now eligible
to be sent to the full committee for consideration.

→“For decades, PRC policies have aimed to concentrate rare earth elements
(REE) and critical mineral supply chains in China. Export quotas and value
added tax incentives on rare earth elements, vertical integration of mining and
production by state-owned companies, and investment restrictions prohibiting
foreign companies from extracting or refining rare earth elements in the PRC
contributed to this control...It is clear the PRC is eager to leverage the
choke points it developed in this critical sector to harm the national security
of the United States."
