This year in the legislature, we achieved some remarkable victories that highlight why our work in Albany is so critical:
We hosted the first-ever oversight hearing on the workers' compensation system and passed workers' compensation reform to expand access to care.
We expanded access to child care— eliminating the minimum wage eligibility requirement for parents and continuing to chart a path to universal child care.
And we brought record funding back for working families– $11M for workforce development and $16.8M for Queens!
