New Pennsylvania Project

Fellow activist,

The Republican National Committee (RNC) released its 2024 platform, and former President (and convicted felon) Donald Trump and the Republican party doubled down on their staunchly anti-voting agenda.

Using doublespeak, the RNC stated that they strive to “secure elections” by making it harder to vote. The GOP is pushing for requiring photo IDs and proof of citizenship to vote, limiting mail-in voting, and more in order to silence the voices of millions of voters.

While this platform is frightening, it’s what we have come to expect. In 2020, Trump ran a smear campaign against PA’s election systems in an attempt to overturn the results, and at a rally in PA last month, he echoed his intention of doing it again.

With the fate of our democracy on the line, we must be prepared for anything.

As a voting rights organization, we will always stand up for expanding voting rights and access to the ballot.

Team NPP continues to engage and mobilize Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth (17-35-year-olds) across Pennsylvania to ensure our centered communities participate in the democratic process and vote in every election, twice a year. Will you help support our voter registration and mobilization efforts by rushing $25 or more today?

Team NPP

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
