According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), multiple states have passed voter suppression laws across the country since 2008.¹ These laws range from enacting stricter voter ID requirements to restricting access to the opportunity to vote, and unsurprisingly, they disproportionately impact Black and brown voters, Native and Indigenous voters, voters with disabilities, and low-income voters.²
