Any one of us would get thrown in jail for insider trading. But instead of actually doing anything real to hold politicians accountable, Josh Hawley’s latest bill allows members of Congress to continue getting away with it.
All they have to do is pay a small fee on the millions they make on the market.
This year, I’m running to do more than just enact a real ban on insider trading for members of Congress, judges, and executive branch officials — I’m running to put them in jail if they steal from us.
