Lakenheath Alliance for Peace peace camp, 13-25 July

This Saturday, walkers and cyclists from the Lakenheath Alliance for Peace will begin a three day journey from Norwich to RAF Lakenheath. They will arrive at the US airbase on Monday afternoon where they will set up an international peace camp and hold a continuous protest against the return of US nuclear bombs to Britain until 25 July.

A programme of workshops and training sessions are scheduled, and CND supporters are encouraged to visit the camp, with major mobilising days planned for Tuesday 16 July and Saturday 20 July. Keep up to date with the latest schedule on LAP's website here.
