Folks, in a moment, I’m going to ask for your personal endorsement of my re-election campaign — but first, I want to share why I’m in this fight in the first place. Growing up, we lived in a trailer. My mom dropped out of high school and my dad never finished college. They were able to get decent jobs in manufacturing and my dad became a lineman. That’s how I was able to go to college and get ahead. If you’re working hard, you deserve to have something to show for it. I’ll always fight to make sure that you do. But right now, I’m up against a multimillionaire, former hedge fund executive opponent who has made a career out of making the ultra-wealthy even wealthier. It’s key that our campaign shows we have the most grassroots support in this race, and an important way of doing that is by having supporters like you give your personal endorsement.
