Hey There Democrats,
Remember Trump's first term? Of course you do. It was like a horror movie marathon, only real life. Kids in cages, the Muslim ban, and his baffling sympathy towards white nationalists – it was a daily reminder that things were getting pretty grim. Our institutions were under constant threat, like a sandcastle facing a tidal wave.
But, despite the chaos, Trump was challenged on many fronts. However, he's not going to let that slide if he gets another shot. Enter Project 2025: a chilling blueprint for what his second term would look like.
Here’s what Project 2025 promises:

Purge
nonpartisan
federal
workers
and
replace
them
with
loyalists
who
won’t
dare
challenge
him.

Slash
Medicaid
funding
and
ban
abortion
medication.
*
Make
the
Sabbath
a
federally
recognized
day
and
enforce
ultra-right
Christian
values.
*
Dismantle
renewable
energy
initiatives
to
end
them
as
an
energy
source
for
the
grid.
*
Terminate
the
Dreamer
program.
*
Place
the
FBI
under
presidential
control.
*
Declare
heterosexual
couples
superior
to
LGBTQIA+
couples.
Yeah, it’s as bad as it sounds. This isn't new; it's the same radical agenda the right has been pushing since the Tea Party days, but now they have a concrete plan. A second term for Trump means the most extreme parts of the MAGA agenda becoming reality.
We can’t afford to believe that New Mexico is safe from this extremism just based on our past successes. The truth is, our institutions can only withstand so much. The best way to stop Trump and Project 2025 is to act now, not later.
