RSVP for the phone bank on 7/11.

RSVP to Thursday's swing district phone bank!

Dear John,

Donald Trump wants to have it both ways regarding his record on abortion: He wants to gloat to conservatives about being the one to put enough MAGA justices on the Supreme Court to overturn Roe and end abortion freedoms for millions of Americans, while also hiding his extreme abortion record from everyone else.1

We can't let him do it. Voters, including the younger, less frequent voters whose decision on whether to vote could tip the outcome of this election, overwhelmingly believe in bodily freedoms. We've just got to talk to as many of them as possible to connect the dots with what's on the ballot this election, including abortion rights.

Join other MoveOn members on this week's national phone bank to swing voters in swing districts, happening on Thursday (July 11), at 7 p.m. ET (6 CT/5 MT/4 PT).

Last Tuesday, MoveOn members hit the phones big-time in our most successful phone bank yet in the wake of the Supreme Court's horrific immunity decision. Together, more than 100 of us called more than 21,000 voters in swing districts. We tore through our first list of voters and had to load up a second one to keep calling.

How did we manage to make about 200 calls per person in a little over an hour?! It wasn't magic. :) Unlike old-school phone banks where you spend most of your time dialing phone numbers and waiting for answering machines to pick up, MoveOn is using a "predictive dialer," which makes the calls for you in the background, and whenever someone picks up, it patches the live voter through to you, the caller. It's way more efficient and way more fun, because you spend more time actually connecting with voters to hear what matters to them.

Will you help this week's phone bank break our record again? RSVP to join us Thursday, July 11, at 7 p.m. ET (6 CT/5 MT/4 PT)—we'll hop on Zoom together to get a quick training, then start making calls, and regroup at the end to talk about how it went.

This week, MoveOn members in the places we're prioritizing most are launching the first member-led canvasses of our election program. In Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Phoenix, Arizona, they'll be going door to door to talk to voters face to face about this election and what's at stake. Those of us who aren't near an in-person event can support their efforts by following up with phone calls to these very same voters. So sign up today and join us Thursday!

Trump and his allies want us to lose hope, want us to feel like his lies cannot be corrected and that he will never be held accountable for his violence. But if we insist that a better future is possible, and if we choose to act to bring it about, then we can overcome this strategy and make accountability into reality. So let's come together, now and always.

Thanks for all you do.

–Amanda, Alexis, David, Tatiana, and the rest of the team

P.S. If you can't join us on Thursday but want to call voters, you can RSVP for one of these future phone banks:

Want to support MoveOn's work? The MAGA movement's book bans have forced teachers and librarians across the country to remove books from their shelves and censor what young people can learn. MoveOn is fighting back, including by filling a "Banned Bookmobile" with books that the far right has banned and driving it to key cities and towns to raise the visibility of book bans, hand out banned books for free, and bring people together to stop censorship. To keep up the fight against book bans and the MAGA politicians who support them, we need your help.

Will you start a monthly gift to power and sustain MoveOn's critical work?

Yes, I'll chip in $5 a month.

No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
