Did you miss our travel updates, John?

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it a million times: meeting voters is one of my favorite parts of campaigning. That and massive cinnamon rolls.

It’s also essential to building a successful campaign. Yes, both voters and cinnamon rolls. But in a district as big as ours, that often means miles, and miles, and miles of travel and gallons of fuel. Also toothpaste. So. Much. Sugar.

That’s why fundraising is so important. Aside from being a critical benchmark for the success of our campaign, it also helps us plan more cost-effective ways to reach out to voters (sometimes that involves cutting costs). And as we head towards the August primary, we’re going to need a lot more of those UNLESS we can secure enough resources from voters like you to power this campaign.
