AOC moves to impeach two scandal-ridden Supreme Court Justices

  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) introduced articles of impeachment against U.S. Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.


  • Thomas failed to disclose the gifts he received. Alito flew flags associated with the Jan. 6 insurrection at his residences and refused to recuse himself from any Jan. 6 or 2020 election-related cases.


Victory for voters in Pennsylvania

  • Pennsylvania directed all of its 67 counties to print new mail-in ballots and fix a technical issue with the date section — a move that a pro-voter retiree group, who sued over the issue, says will prevent elderly voters' ballots from being rejected.


Voting lawsuits filed this week in Louisiana and Arizona

  • A disability rights group sued Louisiana over new voter suppression laws that restrict absentee ballot assistance and create onerous witness requirements, claiming the laws discriminate against voters with disabilities.


  • Right-wing groups sued Arizona over the state's Election Procedures Manual (EPM), which prohibits intimidating voters and regulates election certification. It’s the fourth conservative-backed lawsuit and the first federal complaint against Arizona’s EPM.


Majority of Americans support no-excuse absentee voting

  • 60% of Americans said voters should have the option to vote early or absentee without having to document a reason for doing so, according to a recent Pew Research Center survey.


Threats against election officials are a concern for 2024 election
