What is the SAVE Act?

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act would require "documentary proof of United States citizenship" to vote in federal elections.

American elections are for American citizens, and nearly 80% of voters oppose illegal migrants voting in any U.S. election.

As the Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, I was proud to pass this bill through our committee in May.

Now, we’ve passed this bill through the House.

This bill was common sense election integrity legislation.

There shouldn’t be anything controversial about ensuring only American citizens are voting in American elections. But Democrats fought hard to kill this bill.

Democrats routinely attack me for working to increase confidence in our elections. That’s why they’ve already spent $2.7 million attacking me on Milwaukee TV.

This year, our district will be one of the most fiercely contested House races in the country. National Democrats are coming at me more aggressively than they have before and they’re sparing no expense.
