Andrea is facing the exact same opponent she narrowly beat two years ago: Mike Erickson.

And by narrowly, we mean she won with 50.1% of the vote. So, about as narrow as it gets.

1. He wants to ban abortion in all 50 states, including Oregon, without exceptions for rape or incest. He has repeatedly attacked Oregon’s law protecting abortion rights — the law that Andrea herself helped pass — and in Congress, he would be yet another vote in favor of the House GOP’s plan to ban abortion nationwide.
    
2. Erickson said Donald Trump’s actions during his presidency “were great for this country.” That tells you a lot about the direction Erickson would take if given a leadership position.
    
3. Erickson has millions to spend on his campaign. In 2022, he poured millions of dollars into OR-06 to flood this district with ads attacking Andrea, and he is poised to do the exact same thing again. And this time, the NRCC has already reserved $6 million in TV air time in our media market this fall — a staggering amount of money.
