Brian Kemp has solidified his legacy as Voter Suppressor in Chief.
During his tenures as Georgia's Secretary of State and Governor, Kemp has severely restricted access to the ballot box. His goal is clear: Maintain GOP power and reverse progress by silencing Georgians’ voices — especially Black, brown, and young voters. In his latest attempt to diminish our democracy, he signed legislation into law that will have the effect of disenfranchising thousands of voters during this crucial election year.
Take a look at some (but not all) of Brian Kemp’s worst offenses as Voter Suppressor in Chief. Then chip in a gift of $25 or more to support Fair Fight and help stop his future attacks. [[link removed]]

As Secretary of State from 2010 to 2018, Brian Kemp:
❌Said he was concerned with Democrats “registering all these minority voters”;
❌Investigated a Black city commissioner who assisted a first-time voter in understanding how to use voting machines;
❌Oversaw canceling more than 1.4 million voter registrations;
❌Put 53,000 voter registrations on hold before the 2018 election, nearly 70% of which were of Black voters;
❌Advised counties on how to close precincts and polling places, resulting in Georgia counties closing a total of 214 polling locations — a higher percentage closed than in any other state.
As Governor of Georgia from 2019 to today, Brian Kemp:
❌Criminalized handing out food and water to people standing in line to vote and placed unnecessary limits on ballot drop boxes by signing SB 202;
❌Allowed the Georgia Bureau of Investigations to explore allegations of voter fraud and election crimes through SB 441, feeding into Donald Trump’s false claim that the 2020 election was stolen;
❌Signed SB 92, which created a state commission to target and remove democratically elected district attorneys;
🚨 Newest : Makes it easier for mass voter purges from the rolls and a ramp-up in intimidation tactics affecting Black, brown, and unhoused voters by signing SB 189.
