Since the start of 2024, there have been 260 mass shootings and over 8,500 gun deaths in the United States.

These are sickening statistics and the numbers are only going to go up if we don’t do something about it. Thanks to President Biden, we have finally passed stronger gun control measures over the past two years—which strengthen background checks, bolster existing gun control policies, and establish new criminal offenses for perpetrators of gun violence.

In addition, I am pushing for new gun safety measures that remove cultural and language barriers to our red flag laws, which allow family and friends to help law enforcement take away guns from those who are a danger to themselves and others. 

Because of policies like these, we are making progress, but we still have a lot more to do. Our country needs Democratic lawmakers in office to prioritize fighting this senseless brutality. Can you chip in $20 today to help us elect Democrats who are dedicated to passing common-sense gun reform?

Gun violence takes thousands of lives every year, and it is time we put an end to the epidemic. Our children are in danger and every public space has become a potential war-zone. If we want to protect our families from this devastation, we must elect lawmakers who care about our safety.

The National Rifle Association gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican lawmakers every year to keep them in their pocket so their interests are always served, not yours. With the NRA-backed Republican Party taking money from the gun lobby in exchange for relaxed gun control measures, it is vital we elect lawmakers who can’t be bought.

As I write to you, the NRA is donating money to races across the country, while our streets remain riddled with violence. I need your help to elect Democrats across the country who will prioritize your safety above the gun lobby.
