It's the team at Dr. Raul Ruiz for Congress HQ. Last week, we all watched as Donald Trump’s hand-picked Supreme Court granted him immunity from prosecution for “official” acts committed under his presidency.

But that ruling overshadowed another — equally as alarming — ruling handed down by the hyper-partisan court: The destruction of the Chevron doctrine.

In short, the Chevron doctrine directed courts to defer to federal agencies like the FDA, EPA, and CDC on key issues that fell under their jurisdiction. But now, the courts have the final say on these issues — something that could prove incredibly disastrous for the environment, public health, safety, and MORE in the United States.
