This was the headline in the local Phoenix newspaper when I announced my campaign against MAGA GOP extremist David Schweikert. Ever since, I've been on a crusade to win this race, one that could literally decide if the Democrats retake the House of Representatives.

Here's what being relentless looks like:

1) knocking on over 20,000 doors to spread our message

2) Attending over 100 meetings with future constituents

3) Calling almost 20,000 potential supporters

4) Giving more speeches than I can count

5) Sending over 175 emails, each of these going to over 55,000 people, to highlight the critical nature of my race and my need for financial support. (Yes, I do need funds to win this race.)

I fully understand the stakes: Our democracy is in peril, our freedoms are at risk, Putin is on the rise and the cult formerly known as the Republican Party is in full lockstep with a wannabe dictator.

I refuse to back down to hatred.
