Food for Peace is our nation’s oldest and boldest international food aid program. If we don’t protect it, millions of at-risk children could lose their lifeline. [[link removed]]

Today’s no ordinary Wednesday, John,
It’s the 70th anniversary of Food for Peace!
President Eisenhower signed this lifesaving legislation in 1954. It’s still our largest hunger-fighting program, reaching people all around the world. That’s cause for celebration, right?
But instead, I’m filled with concern. The House is trying to slash Food for Peace funding by nearly HALF – lower than it’s been since 2002.
Those levels can’t come close to tackling today’s hunger crisis. Please, speak up to protect Food for Peace! [[link removed]]
Massive budget cuts are the last thing kids need, John.
Especially in places like Sudan, where 3 in 4 children face severe food insecurity. Such extreme devastation is hard to imagine, let alone survive.
In the face of unthinkable hunger, Food for Peace provides families with immediate relief and long-term support – so one day, their communities can feed themselves.
When crisis strikes, this program saves lives and helps families be self-reliant. Tell Congress to reject this disastrous proposal and honor Food for Peace. [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
