I'm thrilled to share that in the first Auditor General poll, we're leading with 43%, with Republican incumbent Timothy DeFoor right on our heels at 41%. This result underscores the tight race we're facing, and it's clear that every vote and every contribution counts.

The power of coalition building is critical to protecting working people, supporting strong unions, and ensuring a transparent, accountable government.

I talk a lot about how important it is to build coalitions. And in my years working as a legislator, I have come to understand just how critical that is. Last week in Harrisburg, we passed House Bill 2153, which I proudly cosponsored. Through a collective effort, we successfully expanded the prevailing wage, promoted custom prefabrication, and closed loopholes that disadvantaged workers. I staunchly opposed arguments against the passage of HB 2153. As Pennsylvania’s next Auditor General, I will create the first Bureau of Labor and Protections to ensure these laws are followed.

Pennsylvania’s hard-working families deserve a watchdog with their best interests in mind and not an Auditor who will sit on their hands while workers are being punished and taken advantage of.
