Donald Trump is hinting at announcing his VP pick any day now. We don’t know who the choice will be, but we know one thing for sure: They’re eager to help Trump do serious damage to our country.

If elected, Donald Trump and his VP pick will wreak havoc on our democracy. The Supreme Court has given them a blank check for “official acts.” It’s clear the Supreme Court won’t stand up to Trump’s extremism — which means AGs will be the last line of defense.

Our AGs are no strangers to standing up to Trump. They sued his administration over 100 times during his four years in office. As AG Tish James put it: “I will not be bullied.”

No matter who the pick is, Democrats will need to rally together in November to protect our democracy and defeat these extremists.
