AMP's online Advocacy Gala this weekend was a huge success, alhamdulillah. Despite a smear campaign against the event led by discredited anti-Muslim ideologue Steven Emerson, his racism and hatred did not prevail: Congresswoman Dingell delivered an amazing keynote speech, our impressive line-up of speakers brought down the house, and more than three thousand AMP supporters attended the gala! We are pleased to announce that we met our goal of raising $20,000 during the event. Every dollar is a clear message to our allies and opponents alike: Palestine prevails. During our event, Congresswoman Dingell announced her letter to the US Ambassador to the UN, Kelly Craft, asking to “restart US humanitarian assistance to Palestinians, including UNRWA.” The Congresswoman asked AMP supporters to engage their representatives.
