As you may know, they released the proposed 2024 Republican National Convention platform. I am not surprised that it is a mixed bag. Yes, the proposed RNC platform gives a nod to Pro-Life principles but has an escape clause big enough to drive my son’s Ford pick-up through!
The proposal declares 14th Amendment protections for preborn children, seeming to provide strong pro-life advocacy. But the very next phrase permits the brutal murder of the unborn in states where abortion is legal.
Haven’t we learned anything? The 14th Amendment was written in Constitutional stone to protect the rights of individuals regardless of state lines! But now, the RNC wants us to swallow the separation of national and state laws when it comes to the value of unborn Americans.
The emboldened Left has ALWAYS claimed states rights over individual rights. They fought bloody battles across our nation to maintain the state authority to enslave, beat, and kill those they deemed unfit to be called fully human. The 14th Amendment settled that war. This is the SAME where Democrats dehumanize, devalue, and claim ownership over the lives of others, always touting, “Let the states handle this!”
We demand consistency, courage, and a definitive, unwavering stand from the RNC platform. To quote their own document, the 14th Amendment promises “that states may not deprive any person the right to life, liberty, or property without due process.” So, why isn't the platform loud and clear in expressing this truth for all unborn children?
The proposed platform goes on to state the RNC opposes “late-term abortion,” which is a political term, not a medical term, can be argued between 20 and 36 weeks gestation. The duplicity is like razor wire, claiming the 14th Amendment for a “late-term” baby but not for younger babies…that is TBD (to be decided) by the states!
In states like California and New York, the unborn will never be protected! Democrat-run states have never willingly given rights to Americans they have deemed less than human. They certainly won’t start now.
So, once again, it is up to us to pressure Republicans to do the right thing. The RNC must defend life at the national level with a strong Pro-Life Plank!

Have you heard Trump's advisors at the RNC are working to abandon the pro-life plank? President Trump steadfastly appointed justices who honored the Constitution and won the hard-fought battle to reverse Roe v. Wade! Yet, unsettling rumors indicate Trump's advisors are pushing to abandon the Pro-Life plank at the Republican National Convention happening July 15-18. This is outrageous and foolish!
The GOP founders laid down their lives to defend the cause of human dignity and has been a haven for those who defend the unborn for decades. This principle guides everything from Congressional races to local campaigns, reflecting the core belief that every life is valuable. Dissolving pro-life values in the platform denies the Republican party's history and undermines decades of progress, including the monumental overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Since Roe, the Left has become more vicious than ever. Recent actions against pro-life advocates by federal agencies underscore the urgent necessity for us to defend the pro-life plank in the GOP. It appears Trump's advisors at the RNC want Pro-Life advocates to sit down and shut up! They are shouting claims that pro-life support is dead.
However, evidence proves otherwise. Since Roe v. Wade, we've achieved abortion bans in 28 states, with 14 states banning all abortions. On the other side, only nine states have no abortion restrictions. The score is 28 to 9, which means the pro-life debate wins, not loses! We are winning the battle and demand a pro-life plank in the Republican platform. Moderates within the RNC are demanding our silence, but the pro-life debate is alive and well and belongs at the national, state, and local levels. The platform reflects the RNC's vision. Without the pro-life plank, our values have no representation in our representative government, leaving pro-lifers homeless. This is the trophy abortion groups are clawing to win! Every government agency, including HHS, DOJ, FDA, and EPA, has been weaponized against the pro-life movement as a result of appointees keeping in step with the Democrat Platform. If the RNC abandons us, they remove the pro-life plank, government agencies will maintain weapons against pro-life advocates regardless of the winning party. Pro-life candidates will be left without standing and the unborn without a voice. Trump's advisers are telling Americans that unborn lives aren't worth fighting for. It will be disastrous if the RNC abandons life and the values that achieved many legislative and election successes in critical races. Let’s not forget pro-lifers represent a significant portion of the RNC's constituency. We expect the RNC to maintain a pro-life plank. If they abandon us, not only are pro-lifers left without the RNC, but the RNC will be left without pro-lifers.

Why would the RNC abandon Pro-life now? Since Roe v. Wade, abortions have been restricted or completely banned in 28 states, and an estimated 130,000 babies were spared brutal death.
Protecting life is a nationwide issue and should be foundational to the Republican Party Platform. A strong pro-life plank ensures the RNC continues to champion life-affirming policies. The Republican Party will grow in strength as more pro-life advocates run for office and young “pro-life generation” voters are emboldened. Our greatest victory will be the Supreme Court recognizing the unborn are protected under the Constitution. There is hope!
There is also work to be done! The Republican National Convention on July 15-18 must defend a strong pro-life plank that ensures the RNC continues championing life-affirming policies. Leftist abortionists will never stand for life, and they will never provide legislative and governmental rights for the unborn. We must hold our ground and tell Trump, his team, and the RNC that we demand the Pro-Life Plank on the RNC Platform!
