I’m going to tell you more about why I think Missy is a great choice to represent Hampton Roads, but first I have an important ask: Will you split a donation between me and Missy Cotter Smasal right now?
In Congress, Missy will be a strong voice for our Democratic values, from creating jobs and building up our economy to preserving our fundamental rights and our democracy.
Missy is pro-choice champion who will fight to protect a woman’s right to choose. She believes women have an innate right to control their own bodies — and that you shouldn’t lose that right because of where you live, who controls your state legislature, or where your military orders station you and your family.
Missy is running because she knows extremists don’t represent her family, her values, or the people of Virginia.
Missy has called Hampton Roads home for 20 years, and she knows what it means to stand for Hampton Roads values. She’s committed to supporting veterans and military families like her own and ensuring our communities are safer and stronger than ever. As a former small business owner, Missy knows what it takes to revitalize the local economy, and her work on a multi-state project to restore the Chesapeake Bay Watershed shows her commitment to protecting Virginia’s coastline.
