SCOTUS is suggesting that the conviction of Trump's MAGA-extremists who STORMED the Capitol was "overstepping." These are the same people who caused deaths, assaulted me and fellow officers, and continue to send death threats whenever we speak out against that day.
This is an incredibly dangerous precedent. It means that in any future insurrections – something Donald Trump has already threatened – insurrectionists may not be held accountable under the law.
