My Republican opponent, Anthony D’Esposito has shown a pattern of corruption, dishonesty and incompetence, exposing his extremism along the way – we must defeat him in November to flip this seat blue.

Here’s Anthony D’Esposito’s record:

• As a NYPD law enforcement officer, Anthony D’Esposito “failed to safeguard” his department-issued firearm, which was stolen from a vehicle he left it in.
• Allegedly "lied in 2011 to a grand jury" and the District Attorney about an illegal weapons case.
• Internal affairs investigated D'Esposito for "driving while intoxicated and disgracing the uniform."
• While serving as a detective, a defendant claimed that D'Esposito stole his gold chain.
• Docked by the NYPD for improperly moonlighting as a disc jockey and improperly serving alcohol.
• During his bartender moonlighting gig, he was “known for flashing his gun around” and being “reckless.”

In just his first term, Anthony D’Esposito was named one of the most corrupt members of Congress and voted with MAGA Republicans to roll back reproductive rights for women in the military and to cut funds for vital service programs such as Medicaid and Social Security.
